There is plenty of street parking nearby on Great George Street and surrounding area. Parking will cost you £3.35 between 6-10pm.

Do I need to have any experience?

No experience is required, the beginners class is open to everyone. We’d love to have you even if you’ve never danced in your life and you think you have two left feet.

Do I need to bring a partner?

Nope, feel free to come on your own. Lindy Hop is a social dance, learning to dance with many different partners is part of the culture. We rotate partners throughout the classes and you will see people changing partners frequently during the social dancing.

What do you mean by leader/follower?

Lindy Hop is a partnered dance consisting of a leader and a follower in each partnership. Initially leaders learn how to initiate moves and followers learn how to complete the moves, though as you gain more experience the dance becomes more of a free flowing three way conversation between the leader the follower and the music. Traditionally men were often the leaders and women were often the followers but please don’t let this hold you back. We encourage you to pick whichever role you wish to learn; we just ask that you stick to the same role throughout the class.

Are there any discounts?

There is a concessions rate of £3 for Students, Retired and Unemployed.
